I had my jaw brace removed the week before Christmas which was the best present ever! So now I am all ready for adoption.  I even made a video.  I love to play with other dogs so a playmate would be great.  A fenced in yard is a must because I really enjoy spending time outside.  I am completely dog door trained so that would be a great plus.  At my foster home I am not crated because I am completely trustworthy since there is a dog door but  I dont mind a crate.  I am a really independent guy and sometimes will spend hours outside playing by myself with a toy or two.  I love soft toys, my foster mom is just too afraid to let me have anything other then soft toys eventhough she has caught me chewing on sticks in the yard and the vet says I am fine.  So if you have been keeping up with my story or you just like the way I look please submit an application.

Look at my nifty head gear.  My foster mom says she hasnt seen anything like this since the 80's. She says it is totally awesome.  I agree since it is holding my bottom jaw on. I was turned into the shelter unable to close my mouth because my lower jaw was completely broken.  I was unable to eat or drink.  No one really knows what happened to me but the vets best guess is that it was something really bad and probably on purpose.  See nothing else is wrong except my jaw is broken so I couldnt have been hit by a car and there isnt much of a chance this was an accident..anyway it is in the past.  Other then my jaw I am a perfectly healthy 5-6 month old boy.  Before my surgery I was all fuzzy faced and looked like an old man but I really am just a puppy.  I get along with all the dogs and cats I meet.  I am learning how to use a dog door but mostly I just go to the door and scratch when I want to go in or out.  I like to play with toys but I just cant figure them out.  I have had a couple of surgeries on my jaw and a neuter.  The vet thinks I might be able to have my head gear taken off in about a month.  My foster mom cant wait and neither can I.  I owe a lot of people a kiss for saving my life.
