Tom

Tom had parvo and that is a very scary disease for all rescues but we knew we had to give this guy a chance. He was given a raw deal by his former owner and then dumped at the shelter and we could get him out. So we did and he made it. We are thrilled every time his new family sends us photos and tells us how great Tom is because we took a chance and it was worth it.

Abraham

Abraham was dropped off at the shelter with another dog. Both were neglected but for some reason when the owner came back for the female the shelter allowed them to have her. They would not release Abe due to his condition and for that we are thankful. Abraham was matted to the skin and had bladder stones so bad he was in pain. We picked him up immediately and brought him to the vet for a shave down and surgery. Abraham was a wonderful little dog and we were shocked that his former owner could have mistreated him in that way. But we are confident that his new owner will never let that happen!

Kohen

Kohen arrived at the shelter sick and though we arent a cat rescue we seem to do about 2 a year and the shelter asked us to please get Kohen out of there asap. Kohen needed his entire digestive system reset which took about 3 weeks. He needed to have his gut relined with good bacteria and he need to be put on a special diet. Of course when Kohen was ready for adoption we had so many people that wanted him but we needed to make sure he had the best home possible. Kohen was adopted by a vet in Penn and last we heard is making her life very hectic!

Coconut

Coconut had a serious eye issue. We did everything to save it and we did! Coconut is now living happily in a home where he is pampered everyday and we hear he has the prettiest eyes ever.

Garrett

Garrett had so many things wrong we didnt know where to begin. He has broken ribs, he needed to be neutered but he couldnt because we had to wait for his ribs to heal and he had ear infections so bad that we literally needed to remove his ears but we had to put him on pain meds and antibiotics to try and control some of the infection to see how much of the ear to remove. It was a wait and see for so many things to heal. In the end he had his ribs healed, he was neutered and he had both ears completely removed. But he felt immediately better because he no longer had deep inner ear infections. Garrett only had to wait a few short months for his home to find him and we think it is due to his good looks.
