Every rescue has those pets that aren't able to be adopted for many different reasons. Some rescues call this hospice or sanctuary but we call it Assisted Living. The pets are living with foster families as members of their family. They are loved and will be taken care of for the rest of their lives no matter how long or the expense.

Assisted Living Angels: Marieke Pieterman, The Palmer Family, Kerri Mays, The Pressley Family, The Stevens Family, The Fraley Family, The Glazer Family, Tammi Kay George, Melissa Curry, Karen George, Kristen Smith, Padmavathi Swarna, Sydney McBride, Alyssa Sair, The Ferguson Family

Igor was purchased as a puppy and then abandoned at a local shelter when he became ill. He weighed in at just over a pound when the shelter contacted us. We had no idea if he would pull through. Igor is now all grown up at 3 pounds but because of his rough start we arent sure of placing him in a forever home. He may never be housetrained and still uses potty pads. But his foster home loves him completely. He plays with his foster siblings and his many toys. He loves to go for walks and can be seen at the many Sound Pet events throughout the year.

Daisy was adopted as a 7 week old puppy and returned when she was 2 years old. She was completely unsocialized and emotionally neglected. Daisy has come such a long way since she was returned to us. She has been placed with a foster family that loves her. Daisy attends play school at Pupsi in Cary at least once a week. We would like to thank Pupsi's staff at helping Daisy find the true joy of what it means to be a dog.

Pez is living with the Stevens Family. He goes on hikes, loves to play and sleeps with a different member of the family each night. He loves his foster brother Pal and is learning to enjoy his foster brother, Friskers more and more each day. For his whole story please check out his webpage Pez Newz.
