Jerry

Jerry was sick and sick dogs at the shelter dont last long. Jerry was put into Isolation with little hope that he would ever come out. Of course we pulled him and got him the medical care he needed. Jerry now lives on a farm in Virginia.. a true farm with goats and horses and tons of land for him to roam. We were thrilled with his new home and cant wait to go back and visit the goats.

John Joseph

John Joseph was brought to the local shelter by some good samaritans who found him with a useless back leg. They had brought him to a local vet who wrapped his leg and said it would heal 'good as new'. We pulled him and brought him to our vet who found that his leg was completely shattered and would never heal with just a bandage. So his leg was removed and we waited to see how many people would apply for such a cute boy. We had no idea we would have to wait so long. We have no idea why it took so long but John Joseph waited nearly 6 months until his family found him but it was the most perfect family for him and we couldnt be happier for him.

Jolene
Jolene

Jolene is a Lhasa Apso. She is everything a Lhasa is supposed to be. So when she found herself a the shelter she wasnt on her best behavior and she wasnt put on the floor for adoption. When we walked through we looked at her several times before finally deciding to take a chance on her. We couldnt be happier that we did. Jolene was just a Lhasa. Yep when she doesnt know you and you go to vaccinate her she will growl. That is just her but otherwise she is the sweetest girl in the world..basically she is a Lhasa.

Jesse
Jesse

Poor Jesse had her ears cut off. This was not done by a professional but probably with just a pair of scissors. We cant imagine the pain she went through. Many people refused to adopt Jesse because of the judgement they would get for the rest of her life. But one brave soul looked past her looks and gave her a home.
